What Is Teen Patti?
Teen Patti is often described as an Indian three card poker style game. The name means “3 cards” which fits the simple structure of the round. Players compare 3 card hands according to a fixed ranking order.
The game has roots in card playing culture across India and South Asia. Older Indian playing card traditions, such as Ganjifa cards show how deeply card games sit within regional art and entertainment. Modern Teen Patti uses a different format but it still keeps the focus on quick decisions and hand comparison.
How JILI Teen Patti Works?
JILI Teen Patti starts with a standard 52 card deck. The deck excludes jokers and gets shuffled after every round. Once the boot amount enters the pot each active player receives three cards.
After the cards come out players may continue in blind mode or choose to see their cards. From there the round moves through calls, raises folds and possible showdowns. If every player except one fold the remaining player wins without a show.
Blind Play and Seen Play
Blind play means a player continues without viewing the cards. Seen play means the player has checked the hand before deciding what to do next.
JILI Teen Patti allows up to 4 consecutive blind actions in one round. This adds pace to the table but it also means the decision happens without full hand information.
Call, Raise and Pot Limit
A call keeps the player in the round by matching the required amount. A raise increases the amount needed for others to continue. However a player cannot keep raising forever.
When a player reaches the total bet limit that player can only call. Also if the pot reaches its maximum limit the game moves to a forced showdown.
Show and Side Show
A show compares hands when the round reaches its closing stage. If only two players remain a blind player can request a showdown.
A side show works differently. When three or more players remain a player may request a comparison with the opponent on the left. The opponent can accept or decline. If the compared hands tie the player who requested the side show loses that comparison.
JILI Teen Patti Hand Rankings
Hand strength decides the winner at showdown. The game compares the hand type first. If two hands share the same type card values decide the result.
| Rank | Hand Type | Meaning | Comparison Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Trail / Set | Three cards of the same rank | AAA beats KKK and so on |
| 2 | Pure Sequence | Three consecutive cards of the same suit | AKQ beats A23 then KQJ |
| 3 | Sequence | Three consecutive cards with mixed suits | Same order as sequence comparison |
| 4 | Color | Three cards of the same suit, not in sequence | Highest card combination wins |
| 5 | Pair | Two cards of the same rank | AAK beats AAQ and so on |
| 6 | High Card | No stronger hand type | Highest card decides the comparison |
Card Rank Order
JILI Teen Patti uses this card order from highest to lowest:
A > K > Q > J > 10 > 9 > 8 > 7 > 6 > 5 > 4 > 3 > 2
Reward Logic in Simple Terms
The winner’s reward depends on the total player bet and the losing bets in the pot. The game applies a 0.95 factor to the losers’ total bet before adding the winner’s own total bet.
Situation | Reward Formula |
Single winner | Reward = Total Player Bet + (Losers’ Total Bet × 0.95) |
Multiple winners | Each winner receives own total bet + [(Losers’ Total Bet ÷ Number of Winners) × 0.95] |
Game Interruption Mechanism
The game rules also explain what happens if a technical issue interrupts play. Malfunctions void all pays and plays. If a malfunction occurs the system completes the round and awards the result according to the platform process. If a disconnection happens after the bet has been received and the player can no longer affect the outcome the round result remains valid.
